Description
There are two sources of information about teamwork. In the body of research in psychology and social sciences they examine how people work in small groups. In management and applied science, they provide advice about how to make teams operate more effectively. The purpose of this course is to combine these two perspective and learn about how people work together, and how to make teams more successful.
During this course, the students will learn many concepts related to how groups and teams operate, such as the characteristics of teams, the issues faced by teams, etc. Furthermore, different activities, such as application techniques, surveys, etc. will be used in order for the students to get some practical understanding.
Objectives:
Understand the importance of group dynamics and communication
Be able to analyze and find solutions to problems of team’s management
Handle successfully a group project
