課程介紹
Knowledge is a crucial key factor to the business success in today’s competitive environment where competitive advantages are based on the knowledge-based view of the firm and effective utilization of firm’s resources. This course explains the concept of knowledge management and how firms seek to manage knowledge through formal organizational practices and informal social mechanism. Important topics covered in this course include Strategy and knowledge in organizations (managing business intelligence, understanding the strategic value of human capital); Enhancing knowledge workflows (utilizing tacit and explicit knowledge, system-views of knowledge management); Knowledge learning and sharing (making organizations learn, transferring knowledge, facilitating communities of practice).
